Agriturismo Ebbio

9, Strada del Gallinaio - 53035 - Monteriggioni (SI) - Tuscany, Italy

Located in Monteriggioni between Siena and Florence, the Ebbio farmhouse is in an excellent position for visiting the many attractions that Tuscany has to offer.

Many of them are within easy reach, such as the cities of art (Siena 15 km, Florence 45 km, San Gimignano 25 km and Volterra 40 km), the ancient Via Francigena (the pilgrimage road which in the Middle Ages connected Canterbury to Rome), food and wine itineraries (as in the Chianti area) and the magnificent Val d'Orcia.

Surrounded by an evergreen forest located near a volcano sacred to the Etruscan population, Ebbio is a 13th century farm which was later transformed into a charming farmhouse with 10 large rooms from which you can breathe the history of the places.

One of the 10 rooms is a common area furnished with a majestic fireplace, ideal for relaxing and having meals. There are also 5 shared bathrooms for guests, a room dedicated to activities of about 100 m² with adjacent bathroom and a room for massages and therapies.

The areas outside the building are varied and also include an outdoor dining room and a large patio whose southern exposure is perfect for outdoor activities as well as allowing the organization of different types of events.

Services and activities of the Ebbio agritourism

The Ebbio farmhouse has been involved for more than twenty years in the creation of retreats dedicated to the practice of yoga, holistic rituals and meditation.

It is possible to be assisted by personnel specialized in various disciplines (radionics, Tibetan pulsations, family constellations and naturopathy) and to take advantage of the help of professionals for different types of massages (Thai, craniosacral, chakra balancing, relaxation, body consultancy, shiatsu and sports massage).

Among the indoor activities, Ebbio offers culinary workshops, dedicated to seasonal cuisine, made with ingredients collected by guests during walks and excursions.

Another proposed activity is the wine tasting in which guests are invited to visit the local cellars with tasting of the excellent wines and oils produced on site.

The external activities that the agriturismo suggests are: horse riding, cycling to discover the Tuscan hills, motocross, hiking and guided tours following interesting cultural and naturalistic itineraries, life on the agriturismo farm and swimming in the rivers and springs of the surroundings.

The green commitment of the Ebbio agritourism

The Ebbio farmhouse is a certified organic farm which extends over 7 hectares of land mainly cultivated with olive trees, vineyards, aromatic herbs, fruit and vegetables.

These products are used in the preparation of vegetarian dishes offered to guests during their stay.

Ebbio offers vegan and vegetarian menus that vary according to the seasonality of the products and offer both traditional and modern cuisine. All dishes are tasty and nutritionally balanced.

Prices and availability of the Ebbio agritourism

The price of the stay is set at €7,000 for 5 nights. Each extra night costs €1200.

The use of the entire property including 9 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, yoga room and organic garden is allowed. The cleaning service takes place daily providing towels and bed linen.

Food and drinks are charged separately.
