Decluttering

Decluttering is a practice aimed at reorganizing the physical environment around us by materially eliminating anything that is no longer needed, thus freeing us from unnecessary and superfluous items.

This process not only optimizes and lightens the spaces we inhabit but tends to be therapeutic as well, as "making space" affects our mood by bringing a breath of positivity towards the future.

The term decluttering derives from "to declutter," which literally means "to tidy up".

Tidying up means eliminating clutter, reorganizing spaces, and creating less cluttered, more functional, and visually pleasing environments.

These characteristics of harmony have a positive impact on our mood, promoting greater mental clarity, reducing stress, and increasing productivity.

Decluttering is therefore a liberating process that enhances our psychophysical well-being and helps us better navigate our daily lives, projecting us towards the future rather than anchoring us to a past that no longer exists.

In Anglo-Saxon countries, decluttering has become a true lifestyle and is applied not only to physical environments but also to an individual's personal and emotional sphere.
