The EcoCampus Casaboli, 15 minutes from Palermo, is a reality that will get you close to nature, sport and adventure.
An ideal place for outdoor sports or relaxing with outdoor walks. There is an Environmental Education Center, educational training courses, a wide network of trails, MTB field school, archery and an exciting adventure park.
Always included in natural contexts, the Adventure Parks offer various types of acrobatic paths among the trees, made up of bridges, nets, swinging trunks, walkways and cable cars, placed several meters high and distinct for difficulty levels.
They are divided into children, teenagers and adults categories, and have strict criteria to regulate access (age, height, and physical strength).
The adventure park is the main attraction for all the activities that are the basis for EcoCampus. This choice has also been determined for the following reasons:
- Accessible paths to everyone, gradual difficulties make each person find their own fun;
- Ideal place for a friendly family time, friends or colleagues;
- It is "Natural" that means it do not create any environmental impact, do not damage the plants or the undergrowth;
- A new way to deal with the natural environment and represent a different, modern and eco-friendly approach.
To begin with, you will wear a full-length dumbbell and, followed by an instructor, you will begin with the practice ground courses where you learn the safety techniques.
From this moment you begin to get acquainted with the height climbing along the Green, Yellow and Orange trails, and here you will experience the first exciting cable car! And then even higher with the Blue and Blue trails with two other exciting cable cars.
The most adventurous will be able to complete all the trials with the Red Route, to emulate Tarzan, and finally, after taking courage to climb to the top of a 12-meter-high tree through two "Tree Climbing" systems, you will fly along several cableways of the Violet paths, with a total length of about 150 meters.
You can try your courage and ability for a determined time based on the difficulty of your chosen course, under the instructors' eyes and at all times you'll have their advices at your disposal.
Access to the routes is governed by minimum requirements including the age and height of the participant, together with attitudinal evaluations verified by the staff.
