GF Market is a gluten free and lactose free organic food store, non-carbohydrate and protein products, phytotherapeutic and macrobiotic products located in Comacchio, in the province of Ferrara (Italy); an activity that arises from the growing desire to move towards a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.
Vegan diet, diabetes care, intolerance and organic nutrition are becoming more and more involved not only in vocabulary but also in everyday habits.
In Susanna Beltrami, owner of GF Market, all this has stimulated the desire to make it more and more open door for the treatment of their own health, which almost always starts with a proper nutritional regimen.
Susanna Beltrami, born in Comacchio and graduated in tourism services, after a few years decided to go back to study: she graduated in "Sciences and Technologies of Dietetic, Cosmetic and Herbal Products" with a thesis titled "Celiac disease from rare disease to social illness".
This allows Susanna to live directly the problems of celiac disease in modern society, thanks to a affectionate friend and a pharmacy apprenticeship, and hence the opening of the store is short: in March 2014, the GF Market is inaugurated with all gluten-free products.
After a short period of time, precisely in June 2015, it begins a change that makes half the local used for gluten-free and the other half used to all the various food issues including diabetes, milk intolerance and lactose, strictly all foods organic.
Wide space is also dedicated to the herbalist and the passion of tea and herbal teas.
In Susanna you can find a practical person who knows how to listen to everyone's problems, giving you the utmost seriousness and helpful tips on how to juggle your diets; it also offers customized recipes to meet the needs of the client, tricks to eat certain foods for children and much more.
This is also thanks to the collaboration with a naturopath who offers free counseling to those who need it.
