On the 9th and 10th of August there will be the XXIX Canestrato di Moliterno IGP Cheese Festival. Two days dedicated to the renowned cheese that had the IGP recognition in 2010. The Canestrato di Moliterno IGP Cheese Festival this year presents a program full of entertainments, in fact, there are games, which will be held in the Municipal Villa, to entertain people of every age.

On August 9th at the Pino theater will hold an important conference entitled "The Canestrato di Moliterno Cheese: the only Italian IGP for a cheese, perspectives and potential for development. There will also be gastronomic contests that will take place at the Palazzo Parisi foundations. In the Moliterno's historic center a gastronomic path enriched by local craft shops and enlivened by good folk music and games will be set up.
On August 10th the festival will conclude its XXIX edition with "Cheese under the stars" music, canestrato cheese and beer on the Saint Lawrence night.
