The "Le Scuderie del Peschio" Equestrian Center has a covered riding ground that allows horse riding all year round.
It is possible to make wonderful horse rides in the 12 hectares of wood in the area of the center or to book trekking in the wide uncontaminated nature of the Tammaro valley.
The Scuderie del Peschio are located in one of the most fascinating areas of the central-southern Apennines. The Massif of Matesedomina the valley with numerous peaks close to two thousand meters of altitude.
The main activities of the center are:
- Horseback riding
- Western riding school
- Multi-day trekking
- Pension and horse training
- Restaurant
The activities of the riding school take place every day, except on Tuesdays, in the covered sand field or in the excursion.
The facilities available consist of a large covered sand field of m. 60x15, an exercise path: "Il giro del Peschio" - 13 hectares of wood owned by the Center, a comfortable saddlery, a large stable and a large paddock, dressing room for horses, changing rooms with bathroom and showers for knights and a cozy clubhouse with bar and restaurant area with Wi-Fi.
HORSES PENSION:
Pension is planned for long periods as well as for a few days, for example in the case of trekking in the area, or for the summer months.
The 13 boxes, the size of m. 3x3,50, they are very welcoming and equipped with water bottles, feeders and dust-free sawdust. The paddock hosts the horses used for walks, so used to pack even out.
The club is organized for rascal and veterinary services. Customized feeds and horse handling can be provided on request.
SCHOOL:
Our school is based on the experience and seriousness of teaching. Everyone is welcome, even to those who do not own a horse or who are not interested in competitive practice.
Horses are the pride of the school, their level of training, their lovable nature and thanks to expert instructors, allow even beginners of all ages, the approach to horse riding.
To all our students we try to teach, in addition to equestrian technique, love and respect for the horse.
HOSPITALITY:
Sleeping at the equestrian center means rediscovering the sounds of nature, the neighing of horses, the rustle of leaves, the dormice, the owls, the foxes, which surround our stone house surrounded by centuries-old oak trees.
From the house you can enjoy an exciting view: the Tammaro valley that stretches at the foot of the Matese. The room, located on the upper floor, where there is also a bathroom with shower, offers a double bed and a single lockable.
The ground-floor dining area has a kitchenette, a fridge and a fireplace. TV is not intentionally provided. The accommodation includes breakfast, the kitchen is available to guests, who will still have the opportunity to use the restaurant and bar services of the club house.
For larger groups or for those less rural, the Center offers the possibility to stay in the adjacent B&B which has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, TV, laundry service, shared kitchen, terrace and Wi-Fi.
The Club House is open to horse lovers but also to those who want to have a relaxing holiday or just spend a carefree day in the countryside.
RESTAURANT:
The restaurant, equipped with a warm fireplace for the winter days, offers genuine and unique dishes, excellent wine, refined German beers on tap and exquisite homemade desserts.
The Club House offers bar service during all the hours of activity of the structure.
A panoramic and large outdoor patio surrounding the accommodation offers the possibility to eat both lunch and summer evenings enjoying the comfortable spaces for children.
The excellent cuisine and the family atmosphere make the Club House of the Scuderie del Peschio a perfect place to celebrate anniversaries and birthday parties.
