Tambor del Llano is a 32-hectare estate located in Andalusia, in the heart of the Grazalema Natural Park, 4 km from the city of the same name.
The Natural Park is one of the richest reserves in Europe in terms of biodiversity and extends between Cadiz, Málaga and Seville.
The site where Tambor del Llano is located is characterized by a vast representation of Mediterranean scrub and is surrounded by a cork oak forest, with ancient specimens of the original forest.
Tambor del Llano is a family-run farm that combines projects aimed at environmental sustainability with an agritourism offering, the latter carried out in a renovated rural building that blends in with the surrounding wooded landscape.
The accommodations can accommodate up to 24 people and all have a private bathroom.
There are large common areas both outdoors (gardens, terraces and swimming pool among the natural rocks) and indoors (equipped kitchen, meeting rooms and living rooms) for relaxing and for holding courses and other activities.
Services and activities of the Tambor del Llano agritourism
The Tambor del Llano restaurant offers traditional local cuisine with an innovative twist.
Tambor del Llano uses fresh and organic raw materials from its own production or from other farms in the area. The restaurant also offers a special menu of certified organic lamb.
Tambor del Llano features a swimming pool set in the rocks that is completely integrated into the surrounding landscape; it is accompanied by a small beach and relaxation areas.
The swimming pool, thanks to its hydromassage system, is ideal for hydrotherapy or simply for relaxing in nature.
Tambor del Llano offers various leisure activities: massages, yoga courses, workshops, exhibitions and many outdoor activities.
Among the activities to be practiced in nature we find: guided walks and excursions, birdwatching, stargazing, tours of the white cities (unique villages of the Serranía de Ronda), visits to the archaeological sites of the Sierra de Cadiz and Malaga and the discovery of the Natural Park of Grazalema on horseback.
Tambor del Llano is located at the crossroads of several trails that run through the park and has well-equipped stables with training and breaking areas. The horses live free in the open air and have a comfortable shelter always ready to host them.
The green commitment of the Tambor del Llano agritourism
Tambor del Llano is a sustainable agricultural company that deals with agriculture, forestry and livestock, combining traditional practices (such as cork extraction) with new organic production practices while respecting the natural environment of the Grazalema Park.
The company is characterized by the presence of an eco-farm made up of a small flock of merino sheep, reared naturally, which provides guests with certified organic lamb meat.
Tambor del Llano also hosts Spanish, Arab-Spanish and Anglo-Spanish horses which have a comfortable and well-equipped stable with a training area.
The organic cultivation of the orchard and vegetable garden is based on respect for natural processes and the seasonality of the products.
Production takes place without the addition of chemical fertilizers, but with natural fertilizers such as compost and manure.
