Dear friends of Etnattiva this Sunday, we propose a sensory journey starting from a walk on the Sartorius Mountains (Etna Nord Est) will lead us in the afternoon to visit the cellar of a small and refined Wine Resort nestled among woods and historic vineyards. Here we are waiting for the tasting of an ethnological excellence: the fine DOC Baron wines of Villagrande, which receive great appreciation in national and international markets. We will live the Etna at 360 degrees using all the senses: we will see its colors and panoramas, listen to the sounds of the birch forest, touch the volcanic bombs and in the afternoon we will give space to taste and smell thanks to the hints of flowers, Fruit, truffles and spices enclosed in each goblet of wine carefully described by the manufacturer.
We will therefore welcome our arrival in the upcoming 2017 summer season.

-FREE EXPENSE PARTICIPATION FEE: € 5,00 (for members); € 6,00 including membership fee (for non-members).

- ADDITIONAL FEE FOR POMERIDIAN WINE DOC TASTING AND CANTINA VISIT: € 20 ... and includes the selection of five Baron wines from Villagrande accompanied by a plate of traditional tasting, a visit to the structure. You will leave from "Welcome" on the panoramic terrace, from which you can admire the gulf of Catania and the vineyard structured to amphitheater. At this stage we will talk about the history of wine on Etna, its territory and its peculiarities. From the terrace we will continue the tour in the cellar, starting the visit from Bottaia where will be introduced the wines, varieties of grapes and finally will deepen the theme of aging in barrels in Castagno dell 'Etna. Finally we will delight our palates with the tasting of quality Etnei wines.
