The traditional chestnut and porcini mushroom festival of Roccamonfina is a highly anticipated event that opens the autumn season to the rediscovery of the flavors and colors, typical of the Campania region.
Now in its 45th edition, for 2023 the Roccamonfina festival is scheduled every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 30th September to 29th October.
The festival is an opportunity to taste and buy typical local products such as porcini mushrooms, IGP chestnuts, wine and other food and wine excellences, accompanied by a rich program of concerts and shows.
The program also includes show cooking, entertainment for children, excursions in the woods to harvest chestnuts with an expert and guided tours in the historic center of Roccamonfina.
